You’re going to want to try this easy to make, delicious football snack that is sure to score you the game winning Football Snack favorite!

Pigs in a Blanket

Ingredients

  • Little smokies, flavor of choice
  • Crescent rolls or sheets

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Cut the crescent roll dough into thin strips about ¾ the width of the little smokies.
  3. Roll the little smokies up in the dough and place on a baking sheet.
  4. Once the baking sheet is full place in the oven for 13-15 minutes.
  5. They are done when the crescent roll is golden brown.
  6. Serve with ketchup, mustard or bbq sauce.

Pigs in a Pretzel

Ingredients

  • Little Smokies, flavor of choice
  • Crescent rolls or sheets 1 egg, beaten
  • Kosher salt
  • 5 cups water
  • ½ cup baking soda

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Cut the crescent roll dough into thin strips about ¾ the width of the little smokies.
  3. Bring the water and baking soda to a boil in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat.
  4. Roll the little smokies up in the dough. Place on a baking sheet or other tray.
  5. Place the rolled smokies into the boiling water mixture for 20-30 seconds and then place on a baking sheet.
  6. Brush the beaten egg onto the boiled smokies.
  7. Sprinkle the kosher salt onto the smokies.
  8. Place the baking sheet with the smokies on it into the oven for 16-19 minutes or until dark golden brown.
  9. Serve with a honey mustard sauce (see below) or a cheese sauce.

Honey Mustard Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp Honey
  • ⅓ cup mustard of choice

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl combine honey and mustard of choice.
  2. Mix well.
